商标注册的有效期为自商标申请之日起10年，可以每十年更新一次。商标注册可以因不使用而被取消，并且可以由于不可注册性而无效。
A trademark registration in Malaysia is valid for 10 years and starts with registration date. The registration is renewable for periods of 10 years.
商标获准注册后，商标注册人如果没有正当理由，连续5年未使用或许可人使用注册商标，其商标注册将有失效的可能。
If the registered trademark is not used for 5 years continuously and reasonably, its registration qualification will be invalid.
